We are committed to widening the theatre and performing arts community. Please join us to give back to the community with NTFB 2025!
Reaching our Fund goals in 2023
In 2023, with your support and kindness, you helped us to make a positive impact with NTFB 2023. In collaboration with Majlis Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (MKM) Brunei Darussalam, the fund enabled us to provide space to an MKM vendor, tickets to one happy family of eight, and food vouchers for all participating MKM clients and beneficiaries.
World Children’s Day 2024
We further utilised the fund to host World Children’s Day 2024 with MKM, conducting workshops in acting, public speaking and choreography to over 50 underprivileged children. With facilitators from 247 Studios, Akademi Panggung Sri Utama (APSUE) and Studio Elevé, the children learned basic theatre skills and gained confidence through activities.
Widening access to the performing arts
This year, we will collaborate with MKM again to share the joy of theatre with underserved communities. All funds raised will be dedicated to supporting:
- Festival tickets, to widen the audience to communities that do not usually have direct access to the arts
- Food vouchers, for families to enjoy their day out at our Festival
- Future collaborations between MKM and NTFB.
Majlis Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (Council on Social Welfare), or MKM Brunei, provides assistance to vulnerable and underprivileged groups in Brunei and beyond.
